A day in the life of a Professional Football Club | Book this event

This day allows your students to investigate a professional football club by bringing them face to face with the professional footballers, manager/coach and professional support staff at Swindon Town Football Club


Session 1 - Observing 1st Team Training

We start at the King Edwards Place training facility where the manager or 1st team coach will outline the content of the coaching session as the 1st team prepare for Saturdays home match.


Sesssion 2 - Practical Session

The football in the Community EUFA A licence coaches will run a practical coaching session for your students replicating what they have observed at the training ground.


A tour of the stadium investigating how the stadium is mprepared for a match day from checking equipment to safety stewards briefings.

Session 3 - Interviews / Q&A Session

Students will interview members of Swindon Town F.C. 1st team and staff who prepare the club for a match e.g marketing dept, media manager, stadium manager.

Dates: Thursdays before a home Saturday match.
There will be only 10 days available during the season


Cost: £550 (40 -50 students)
