Literacy through Football roleplay | Book this event

This innovative new game has had impressive impact on students’ performance in literacy, and has been particularly transformational for boys in key stage 3.

Students are enthused by the fun aspects of using their skills to solve problems whilst imagining they are a footballer playing for the Swindon Town first team.


Integrating mental arithmetic skills with the literacy focus and enhanced by challenging
complimentary activities, this course has the power to harness students’ creative skills, engaging and developing all learners in positive and competitive way.

Prizes are awarded in the following categories:

Option 1

Your School can choose to participate in one of the scheduled Literacy through Football Roleplay days, sending a minimum of 6 pupils (1 team) to meet and compete against other schools in a fun and exciting tournament!

Dates: 10th, 11th June 2010

Cost: £11.00 per pupil (Team of 6 pupils)

Why not book your own day?
This can be at any time of year subject to arrangement.

The Literacy through Football Roleplay day will be designed specific to your requirements. Your school will have sole use of the fantastic technology and facilities in the Cecil Green Suite, and each team will be individually guided through the game by a trained Games Controller.

Cost: £400 per day (Maximum 36 pupils -6 teams of 6 students)
