Transition Projects | Book this event

Transition projects for Year 6 pupils have proved very popular within local Cluster Groups. Students can attend the study centre over a period of weeks (either day time or after school) as part of an exciting transition project from Primary to Secondary School. Pupils are able to meet and work with their new tutors in a fun and positive educational environment.

Transition projects make the best use of the technology available at the study centre along with the expertise of the Football in the Community coaches.

Dates Available: July 2010 13th - 17th

Cost: Dependant on requirements and duration of project.

"The transition project is an invaluable and all too often rare opportunity for staff and students to spend time getting to know each other; this is all the more valuable when students make that move to ‘big school’ and they are 1 of 250 other students looking to make a settled start in September. Tutors have a whole day with their new tutees engaged in stimulating activities away from the school site."
